Losses

Losses

With the help of Losses individual Production corrections of each Production Unit are possible. There are different Loss modes (Loss, Efficiency and Degradation) available.

The Losses are converted to an Efficiency before reimbursement with Potential P50 respective Production and then multiplicative converted to a time series dependent total loss. For example: Loss 1 = 2% and Loss 2 = 1% yield to a total Loss of 99% x 98% = 97.02%.

Mode

Loss
Constant loss per year. For example: "1% grid loss".
Efficiency
Constant efficiency. An efficiency is expressed as a part of 100 (efficiency = 100% - loss). For example: "98% availability".
Degradation
A declining loss, that is a time variable loss. The input data is an annually value while the calculation is monthly based starting with the production start. For example: "0.24% degradation" means that the concerned production decreases monthly per 0.24%/12 per year, that is 0.02% per month.

Start

Start of the loss is entered with a Date choice box. For example: "for the first time at production start", that is Production Start + 0 months.Date choice boxTime seriesFacility Start + 0 months

End

End of the loss is entered with a Date choice box. For example: "for the last time at production end", that is Production End + 0 months.Date choice boxTime seriesFacility Start + 0 months

Facilities

Selection of the concerned production unit. The presetting is that all production units are concerned. With a change to "Some" you can choose individual production units.Facility allocationProductionAll

Calculation

The losses affect the Production calculation.
