Date Choice Box

The Date Choice Box allows relative references to already determined dates.

Date input with month and year.

Start DatesProfit & Loss statement, Production

Start dates consider the entered month from the first day of this month. For example: "Start of an Opex entity 02 / 2016", this means from 02.01.2016.

End DatesProfit & Loss statement, Production

End dates consider the entered month till the last day of this month. For example: "End of an Opex entity 03 / 2016", this means from 03.31.2016.


Due DatesCashflow statement

Due Dates (equivalent to incoming payments and payouts) are due on the last day of the entered month. This concerns for example Payout Dates for Debt Tranches and Shareholder Loans, Due Dates of Capex and Transaction Expenditures, Due Dates of Pre Payments or Provision (Opex Entities), Immediate write-offs (Depreciation) and Open Items. An exception is the Transaction Date, compare the below. Example: "Debt is issued per 01 /2015", this means Issuing per 01.31.2015 and first interest payment and redemption from 02.01.2015.

Transaction

Date of the transaction, which can be entered up to a month precise.

The entered month refers to the first day of the selected month (inclusive) respectively the last day of the previous month (exclusive). For example: A transaction date 01 / 2015 means the balance sheet is transferred on the 31.12.2014 (exclusive), respective is owned by the buyer from 01.01.2015 (inclusive).

The financial model and the connected financial ratios (for example IRR calculations) starts on the transaction date. There are several calculations (for example the production start, Capex and debt payouts) that can be entered before the transaction date and which are calculated referred to the transaction date (compare Value at Transaction).

Start

Date of the first event.


Production Unit Start

Production Unit Start of an assigned Production Unit. The production start can be entered up to a month precise.

The entered month refers to the first day of the selected month (inclusive). For example: A production start 01 / 2015 means the Production Unit starts producing on the 01.01.2015.

Production Unit Start Plus Lifetime

The commissioning date + Project Lifetime + the time input yield the end of the production, regardless the Transaction Date.

For Example: A production start 01 /2015 with a Project Lifetime of 10 year and an input of 2 years means the Production Unit produces from 01.01.2015 till 31.12.2026. Is the site transferred per 01 / 2016 (Transaction Date), the Production Unit is "In Operation" since 1 year with a remaining lifetime of 11 years.

Production Unit End

The commissioning date + Project Lifetime yield the end of the production, regardless the Transaction Date.

For Example: A production start 01 /2015 with a Project Lifetime of 10 year means the Production Unit produces from 01.01.2015 till 31.12.2024. Is the site transferred per 01 / 2016 (Transaction Date), the Production Unit is "In Operation" since 1 year with a remaining lifetime of 9 years.

First Production Unit Start

Minimum of Production Start (Production Unit Start) from all Production Units.

Last Production Unit Start

Maximum of Production Start (Production Unit Start) from all Production Units.

End

Date of the last event.

First Production Unit End

Minimum of Production End (Production Unit End) from all Production Units.

Last Production Unit End

Maximum of Production End (Production Unit End) from all Production Units.

Due Date

Due Date of Capex Entities. With multiple Due Dates for one Capex Entity. Every Due Date is involved corresponding to the entered percentage.

First Due Date

First Due Date (minimum) of a Capex entity with multiply Due Dates. 


Last Due Date

Last Due Date (maximum) of a Capex entity with multiply Due Dates. 


Project End

Project End corresponds to Last Production Unit End.


Debt End

Debt End corresponds to the last Redemption (maximum) of Debt Tranches.
