2.1.3.1 Creation of Mapping File

The mapping file assigns accounts of the bookkeeping software to accounts in green[::]match. The mapping file is individually created based on the accounts of the bookkeeping tool, the amounts of assets and the level of required detail. Therefore, there is not a standard file that can be shown here. Usually, green[::]match creates at least the first mapping file for the customer. While the input fields change depending on aforementioned characteristics, the output looks always the same, although it could also be transposed:
In Column A, there are the accounts as used in green[::]match and the respective month/year. In column B is the balance at the transaction date. The other columns represent the details of the different account for the respective year and month. Please note that the entries can be for any the frame. The entries can be on a monthly, quarterly or yearly basis. Please contact Support for more details about the mapping files.
